In this life of mine I’ve known Love as the most fleeting feeling Blushing, giggling Held in ways I dreamt But never kept for long. I have tasted bitter revenge Sworn my heart to ice Felt hate burn through my veins Feeding wounds that would not heal. But in quiet hours when anger fades I find forgiveness waiting Soft as dawn, patient as time. Because even in pain and ruin Love was first And love was everything. So I choose to forgive For love was there before the hurt And it must remain after.

Love, revenge, hate, and forgiveness
In this life of mine I’ve known Love as the most fleeting feeling Blushing, giggling Held in ways I dreamt But never kept for long. I have tasted bitter revenge Sworn my heart to ice Felt hate burn through my veins Feeding wounds that would not heal. But in quiet hours when anger fades I find forgiveness waiting Soft as dawn, patient as time. Because even in pain and ruin Love was first And love was everything. So I choose to forgive For love was there before the hurt And it must remain after.
A journey through the hardest feelings, finding peace in the end. Because love was there first and it deserves to stay.
