The darkness came, a crawling tide, Spirits filling the home where we hide. Cold smoke, cold eyes, they pressed inside, And she fell to pills, the world too wide. She walked through fields beneath the moon, Barefoot, bleeding, to a haunted tune. I followed, unseen, through the silvered dune, And called her back from the edge of ruin. White walls, cold lights, the hospital hum, They saw her body, but the war had just begun. I held her in silence, until the night was done, Two souls entwined, our hearts merged as one. Through shadows, pain, and spirits’ cries, We walk as one beneath haunted skies. Whatever waits where the future lies, We burn eternal her and I.
