Together Among the Stars

If nothing but silence

Would quench this awful thirst

Then I’d be doomed to starve

Because silence is the worst

It’s your voice I need to survive

So whisper in my ear

So that I again can feel alive

Let your touch transform my emotions

Until my face is no longer pale

And with your lips against mine

Let our fates intertwine

And our lives become as one

As we drift aimlessly in summer nights

Like stars in the open sky

We’re only dots when alone

But when together

We have became a constellation

That shines with beauty among the sky

That gives those watchful eyes

Dreams to wonder by

As they gaze into their own lover’s eyes
