Standing there on my terrace,
Feeling that cool wind on my face,
I can remember how I was in the past..
Those friendships that did not last,
Crazy time, it was..
How could I think back then,
That I would be alone here tonight watching the night sky hoping that I had done better?
That I could see the future and create something smoother..
Yesterday was once my today,
A day I laid to waste because I thought that tomorrow was going to be okay..
Until I realized that tomorrow never comes anyway..
What we all have is today..
24 hours!
That’s everything we have to make the most of this life..
Tomorrow? We cannot predict..
Yesterday? We cannot delete..
Today? We can edit as per our destinations..
We might not reach it in 24 hours..but it does bring us closer..closer only if we live better..
