Disclose Helplessness

What I have hidden

from you for so long.

Today could be the day.

I finally open up to you,

and show you the scars.

Shocking,

To you it seems so wrong.

A pretty smile.

A few pretty bracelets.

Is all needed to hide the ugly truth.

You say you'll always be there for me.

To love me, hold me when I cry.

But where were you?

You practically watched me bleed.
