Petals of that yarrow You gave me that night Faded in sorrow; Crave left its place to white. A white with no fears Leaves the bird crying, Soaking wet with tears, Even though it's dying. No healing in the petals No comfort in the bone As the dust slowly settles On a heart turned into stone
