the guilt plucks at my hairs creeps up my throat and rots my teeth it rings through my ears, like your laugh once did rips apart the words I was too cowardly to say, it’s all I see when I catch your eye, seeping out mine in return, routinely each night the guilt is sour disgusting, sharp but most importantly, it tastes like You.
