Kashmir, my motherland, now a distant sigh, A homeland left behind, where echoes cry. Valleys of sorrow, mountains of pain, Exiled hearts wander, with memories in vain. The fires of hearths extinguished, temples stand forlorn, Whispers of displacement, a story unborn. Rivers that once sang, now flow with tears, Forced to leave our roots, through unkind years. Shadows of our past, in endless night, We yearn for the gardens, where our gods once dwelled, But doors are locked now, our stories unfulfilled. Oh Kashmir, a wound that time won't heal, A homeland lost, where our hearts still deal. Yet, in this darkness, a spark remains, A flame of hope, that love and peace will reign. We'll return one day, to the land we adore, And Kashmir's heart will beat, forevermore.

Kashmir: A Wound Unhealed
Kashmir my motherland... Hope one day we will be able to return to this paradise...
