Layers

Layers upon layers

of a vast design

complex and diverse

in clashing colors

constructed in chaos

forged within tears

forgotten reasons

why we cry

why we bleed

why we cherish

the way things are

the way they must be

ask questions

don't ask why you should

the truth is a gift

reality is earned
