Flat lands, heart land Home sick, tick tick tick Goes the clock on your life Until your body runs out of room to contain just what you've become And tick tick tick goes the clock of your life, waiting behind walls For some kind of savior A knight in shining armor , or an angel in a sundress Tick tick tick goes the clock of your life as you waste away behind suits and screens, waiting for a raise that never comes, Tick tick tick goes the clock of your life, And your wasting, behind hashtags And false flags, and your waiting, Degrading and slowly sinking, waiting
