While evacuating my gut, sweaty, Another full circle will terminate, Just as the sun dips tonight, They'll take me for yet another spin; The body now gives signals, A great many aches here and there, Activities have begun to slow, And a many joys begin to ebb... In the heat of the sahel, Occasioned by sparse cold spells, There reason to thank my ancestors, For yet they say, wait, more to come!
