I can’t remember the colours in her eyes, But I know how it hurt seeing her cry. I can’t remember how she would sound, But her voice was the best around. I can’t recall how the words were strung, But I know it was like honey when she sung. I can’t recall how our love started, But oh my heart ached when we parted. I cant remember the feel of her hands, The memories sift through like sand. If only I could hold them tighter If only I could fight harder
