enchanted to an amulet

and i dream of his comfort in my hand;

how i wrapped my fingers around him tightly;

the pretty light in his eyes

and the sweet ****** migrating south.

i still taste him, sweet burning,

burning with me still.

but the room is empty - perhaps it always was?

my head swims, but my heart is anchored.
