I think I'd find it super scary to feel nothing.  I live by my feelings, much more than I do my brains - often to my dismay.

To *know* requires a higher cognitive function that is distinct but interconnected to feelings. Hence, through higher rationality you know much more than what you feel. The want to know nothing is common, but it can be compared to the idea of wanting money for doing nothing. Absolute ignorance is bliss. I doubt that. Even if a comatose state was bliss, to whom would it be shared? The very poetry you write would cease. Hi Cydney Something...or Cydney Someone....that can do something deeply, but needs more understanding not less....you are mind and emotion.......I pray you can go deeper than what you imagine.................

Sometimes my feelings overtake me so much I'd rather have a mind blank and void of thoughts. And at those moments the best thing is to just be. No thoughts. Just feel the air in the room. Smell the scents of the plants, the coffee, hear the soft background  noises of the heater or cars going by outside. Just be in the moment. Thanks for this Cydney.
