You brought the roses, you brought the lights. You couldn't help but shine in the moonlight. A cute green dress, with those boots I love. But somehow the wine was poison. I thought the smile was only to ease your pain. Then I saw your lips and they started moving. You love me and you hate me. Your tired of this invisible heartbreak. Unfamiliar lies and a a bad taste. It seems a thread in your broken heart came loose. And I was in the way. How was I supposed to know our love was never meant to be saved? Your crooked heart was foreign speaking. You walked up to me, grabbed my chest to speak but I stopped you. I kinda new what was coming. It wasn't hiding it wasn't that hard to see. You love me and you hate me. Your tired of this invisible heartbreak. Unfamiliar lies and a a bad taste. It seems a thread in your broken heart came loose. And I was in the way. How was I supposed to know our love was never meant to be saved?
