Late one night Sometime in the distant past We were talking Amongst soft kisses Our words slipped out Laced with the truth You asked me if I was ready You said you might not be Good enough to be my first love. I told you that you were, I chose you. Even though you eventually Tore my heart to pieces, Ripped my innocence Away from me, and left me Alone and empty You were worth it, Because I loved you. -M.
