Sometimes I question my purpose in life A constant stream of essays and equations Judged by a letter grade and a GPA My  knowledge determines my worth Not my skills or life experience Not what I put out into the world My journey or my vision Is my life a series of numbers Wins, goals, accomplishments Marriage, family, kids Then to the finish line An undecidedly dark quest A journey in which you go alone Searching for one Only finding your reflection
