but too soon your stars and my fantasy are overthrown as dawn’s first light returns home so, my hands brace for a last touch cascade off your chin and fall into oblivion as a new day vanishes my elaborate play and if you were here with me this morning also lost in this deafening silence, you’d hear the screams of a longing that had gone unnurtured a wish….like a baby in your arms as it dies
