We look at one another and our eyes meet with disgust. A bundle of joy lives with each blink, so I keep my eyes shut and walk blindly. She taunts me with laughter, so I deafen my ears to shield the heart. I can only be sure of myself. Not to long ago I said, "It was nice to meet you." Time never perfected its unseen future. I've learned that everything is an illusion, and never shall we survive as lovers. No reintroduction is necessary when all is lost.

I Don't Know You Anymore
