Test of Faith

Blacken'd, years take their toll

On the heart,

And steal away faith and hope

Born as a blank slate

With first drawn breath

Some to love

And some to hate

All to pain of a kind

Sweet Jesus

I long for faith once more

There's more than this

I see the pain of many

Where are your footsteps when tsunamis strike and wars destroy the innocent?

Where is the light?
