And you scratch and you claw, But you cannot change it; Everything has a flaw.   If only to find it, To fix it, you yearn. Somehow to restore it, The passion just burns.   And when you think back  Some time or another You forgot why it vexed you Just the hurting, recovered.   But on it comes again, A swell so large, overbearing, overwhelming, It knocks you down hard.   Oh the burning And oh the desire To quench to put out The raging fire.   Your hands start to shake. Your knees start to tremble. Your mind leaves you senseless, You no longer resemble   Yourself, your a beast, a monster, a fiend, You look out on the world As it twirls serene.   So much to decide. So much to take in. It  must bend to your forces And make you fit in.    But why try to fit in When no others except you? You know you are right Why let it  effect you?   You turn and answer in an icy growl, “Its not for me to change, Its for them to bow down.”   Ah there is the reason you are pained so. You wish to just always be right, Never grow.   I know your passion, The burning desire. It coursed through my veins, I too breathed the fire.   When finally you accepted it, When finally you realize Your rage  has no effect But to bring you your demise.   The rage will die down But still smolder on. The passion, the fury, Will still play their song.   Control is the answer, Is what you seek. Control of yourself; You must first conquer the weak.   The anger will burn Still down in your soul, But the pain and the sadness Will release their firm hold.
