Listen, do listen The muse in the air Hark, do you hear The bard of town square The children near Danced over the pier To sing a song to his tune They sang of Tom And the cow and the moon Jack and Mary And little boy blue Peter and Paul And Margery Daw Songs that were carried As the wind blew Though as he played The sun went away So each sister and brother Went back to their mother And waited to sing the next day
