Get Up

I’m not quite sure

what loneliness is,

loneliness is this.

I can’t describe

the feel I feel

but certainly

it’s real.

I throb inside

most everyday

and everyday I sigh.

Get up and do

what’s right

at least.

Spread wings

and soar so high.

Be brave and

show your strength

inside.

Show courage,

stand up tall.

Ignite that fire

in your gut.

Get up and

show ‘em all
