how can you dread
surprises
when life itself is a surprise
you can't decide when a baby is born
or when you will breathe your last breath
and you can't pick
exactly
where each snowflake will fall
or when or where or with whom
you will fall in (and out) of love
i guess what i'm trying to say is
don't blame me
for coincidences
and
fate
