Hey, you seem distant. This has been so consistent. Is it because of your family? Or is it because of that girl, Emily? The one with the strange attitude, The one who seems to hate you? She's hard to comprehend, She seems to pretend; That she isn't lonely. That you're not the one and only. Why doesn't she understand, That she doesn't need a man To make her Independent Or happy Or whole Why don't you love yourself? You're not your own enemy. Love, Emily
