A lie is such a fickle thing So small, so delicate And so deceiving A lie could hurt, it can damage But at the same time it can be so kind A lie can be a flower, a gift, a kiss Or the weapon that is used to stab us with And that’s the thing with lies It’s not all that black and white Not all lies are told with a knife.

Lies
