Some say love is just an illusion Just a simple irreconcilability of 2 minds It’s what we want to be not someone we want to see It’s also a ton of work It’s a ton of work you refuse to open your mind towards I knock One knock... You answer... You say here I am come and be apart of a life I want you to see I want you to feel Like a silent storm that settles after a hurricane I want you to see Like a mother’s first sight upon her new born babies face I want you to breathe Like a hot steaming apple pie your grandmother bakes and leaves out on the stove Two knocks... You prop the door open.. You say silently under your breath... I don’t  have anything for you anymore No money No job No house No family But you can’t see I don’t want your stuff #love, I’ll never get to pull you out of the ashes But I’ll always remember how much I love you
