wouldn't it be nice
if in Star Wars ep7-9
we saw Finn become the main character
i mean sure Rey picks up the lightsaber
but he did it first and used it
badly for a few seconds
but he used it
and yeah she's the force wielder
what if it turned out he was too?
what if it could've been a come up
story about him discovering his roots
and abilities after being kidnapped
by the empire as a child
like uuhhh child soldier
or something and-
huh that's gruesome-
after not giving in his whole life
deserts and fights against them
i mean after Solo: a Han Story
the parallel between Finn and Han
would be hard not to compare
a man who joined the empire
to escape
trying to be the Obi
to a kid who was kidnapped by the empire
imagine a scene where
Luke gives advice to Han
on how to help Finn
because he was kinda that kid once
instead we got a convoluted love story
that was present but nonsensical
along with extreme power with no
training
accountability
or
responsibility
i don't mind the messages
people like to share in their content
we all do it
just keep to the ******* story
everything those movies focused on
hurt everything about them
and the fact that we had to focus
on specific factions of messengers
while watching
felt like assault
did Disney fire the person running that show
God i hope they fired her
