Spring didn't come slow It didn't come like the gradual change Not like small red leaves to flurries of snow It comes like this every year, the same Spring woke up one day Her green and blue heart beating once more The birds in the morning came out to say "Hear, Here Spring comes ashore!" Spring came like the bitter cold hits you Spring came as one chilled windy morning Into a noon of more wind, and sky blue Though, a day or two, it might go back to storming Even so, they say Spring showers bring blue and May flowers So, since spring came on time this year What's next that we've got to fear?
