on knee, or coupled, arm in arm
protesting something most unfair
but lacking care, or charm
I don't know who may have seen
but the protest has been changed
not on knee, and needing the green
arms linked, the fans, estranged
The squeaky wheel, gets the grease
loud, obnoxious, overbearing
their slice they seek, to increase
and they're really not up, for sharing
Attendance down, upon the ground
the money ceases it's predictive flow
owners ****** and players miffed
and ticket prices, low

Symbolism, before substance.
