Twitching Flirtation

Tingling & loosing my ability to function

Twitching thoughts cut through my memories

I use to admire you from a distance

But now you sit right in front of me, but I wish you wouldn’t speak

The absence of your voice allows me to imagine all the things you’d do to me

The subtle touch of your hand on my thigh…

Makes me nervous and wildly insecure

& Afraid that my imagination is the sole source of your touch

The development of feelings not meant to be unleashed on earth’s domain

Lead me to watch my back as I approach eternity

Running….Running…

Catching up to a spirit that doesn’t want to be found

I lead you to my resting place

Un-breaking all my memories

I sit you down

in the

dark

for

you

to see

all there is

in this kaleidoscope heart

Fragments of desire that wait to intertwine with the gardens of your soul

Running… Running…

into your arms

star dust collides into a poetic awakening
