Drawing final breath, might be the last stand Hero whose funeral won't be grand Afternoon sun bathes the scenery in red As the solider shall rest soon in death bed Protecting loved ones, serving under one's flag War fought not for historians to brag Though they take lives without fear Emotions are just set aside preventing horrors to appear Impossible it may dream to aspire for true peace But a message relayed in this poetic piece Let a life be lost for a better cause Hope for wars to have a complete pause
