We are specks of light
Flickering in the night sky-
Shining, burning bright
Constantly blazing, consuming fire.
Yet,
Gradually deteriorating, burning out
Slowly fading out of sight
Dimming, losing our lights
Til remnants are all that we see.
Dead stars-
That's all we're gonna be.
