Crystal drops fall from golden eyes So sad to see one so beautiful cry Clipped wings and a broken heart Whole body and soul torn apart To fall asleep and never wake To forget the pain ones path can make Is this the true happiness one does seek Or just a way our for one so weak Never to see another sun rise and fall To forget the memories in time one and all To feel nothing for ever more To win the battle by losing the war To lose the experience of real Just to forget how to feel Sorrow and joy die by the sword As they are sacrificed to their lord And now as I close my eyes Tears pull through for one last cry As I lay myself down folded in torn wings My heart, its death song begins to sing
