Mounting Failures

I feel it

Now

A thousand

Pairs

Of eyes

Staring

I do not

See

Them,

I do not

Touch

Them, but

I put

My head

Down

The floor

Falls away

I hear

Them

Whisper

My name

Calling

Bells

Ringing

Buildings

Crashing

A thousand

Pairs

Of eyes

Watching

As

I

Fall.
