Reaching out from a room with no windows, doors or holes. Just a screen of blinding lights and a snarling dog that never sleeps. Maddening I feel; so far away yet it feels just barely beyond my touch. I hear your heartache, its rhythm is in sync with mine. Do you hear it? Can you feel it? Or am I just the white noise that we drown away with inner thoughts. I try and flail but to no avail. Alone with the terrible beast in the room that can only be opened from outside.
