Maybe we won't always be together Maybe I'll only think of you very late at night Just before traversing into my dreams Keeping you close to my imagination But away from my every reality Maybe I'll only hear your voice From your old audio notes; Maybe I'll memorize every word And answer all the questions That were left unanswered Maybe I'll only ever see you Ordering your coffee every wednesday At the café by the intersection Maybe I'll smile and wave And then we go back to being strangers
