There is a man
A
Man
With an alluring face
Blissful, yet brooding
He appears mean
Intimidating but he's not
He's
Not
He's too kind
And his smile
'Mångata'
As bright as he is
He
Is
The color amaranthine
A deep purple-red color
As laced in mysterious
As an unopened book
Unopened
Book
That's not him
He writes sweetly
For the broken world
That's set against him
Against
Him
Yet he stands; Leader
Quintessential to many
A lagniappe to all

the most minimalistic poem is this one
just two lines and now i'm done
I'm not sure where this came from

I am middle C
Sandwiched between the rest
Yet essential

I move with the melody
Float above and below notes
The melody is within me

I am a dancer
Performing perfect pirouettes
The music calls and I answer

I tap to the music's captivating beat
The music pulsing through my veins
From the top of my head to the souls in my feet

The road ahead is dark
Stumbling through pitch black
Simulating blindness

Can’t see anyone
Looking forward, looking back
Careful steps turned into fearful running

Suddenly, there’s small light
It's us, your friends
Follow the faint glow of hope

The road ahead is still dark
But we somehow know we’re close to the end
You Never Walk Alone

We are on the same path
So let’s go together
We’re here by your side
Now and forever

— The End —
