Let me be your own artist,

I'll change your
scars into stars,
the tears in your
eyes into butterflies
and your sufferings
into colorful
lanterns,
let me paint you
with the colors I
have, let me write
you using my
blood, my love,
You'll be the best
art and poetry
and our love story
would be the most
beautiful tale that
will be written
in the history.

She's the daughter of a noble
Her images were unforgettable
Warmness covered my skin
Once she starts to touch mine
Her lips are richer than roses
Words purer that any slates

But she sleeps on her capacity
She wounds other's esteems
Then she blames and destroys
And I tried to hold onto her tightly
words tried to remind her worth

yet,
She responded by storming out
Perhaps caught an aeroplane
Leaving me standing at the shore
She ran away with her heart
I was left empty, hoping for her
But the sunset settles down

so it ends,

                            au revoir

thoughts to dump
here i am in my room
feverish
anxious
listening to "august"
for the nth time
thinking about how
i cancelled my plans
just to meet you
in front of the mall.
do you remember?

an all consuming love
took hold of the
narcissist
his great admiration for self
was the everlasting
tryst

in front of the mirror he stood
kissing his own
reflection
whilst at it saying I'm so deserving
of my steadfast
affection

yes he was absorbed
in a love profound of
pond
this being the love he'd
keep fervently
fond

no one else could love him
with such a richness of
care
cause he was unable to
empathetically
share

the love he did bear inside
his overly indulgent
heart
would never ever
be cleaved
apart

You built a cemetery for me in your head
Just in case you found a way
To bring back the dead

watch me scatter the solemn ashes of my youth on these trails
A mind so mindless; so enriched with allure pink skies and withering dreams.
One so naive so bluntly ignorant to the cruelty that buries itself under the trails of a rooted fate.
watch me wander watch me waste time

After a while, I realized,
My mind was quite aloft,
All the daydreaming, the crying,
The cursing in between dreams,
So bleak, so dark, so tasteless,
So easy to forget, but so notoriously present,
I no longer sleep at night,
Instead, I sleep with my eyes wide open,
In bare daylight,
I marvel at the talent I've cultivated,
Or, at least, at the unspoken ability that,
The little girl that I once was has resorted to,
Just to bear one more day,
Only one more.
Do you daydream as much as I do?

alone
sitting on my little edge
of the world
quietly
listening
waiting
for someone to see me
to feel my very specific type of ache
to see my words for what they are
to feel the weight of them
to kiss me in all the right places
and say all the right things in the darkness of the night.
I cry out in absolute silence.
I swallow my loneliness.
throw my sadness in a burlap sack weighed down with rocks to toss into the river

no one will ever know the difference .
