brief moments adding up
-to eternity

lamb bleats
mother answers

calves frolicking in the cresh
aunties watch over

angels wait
with bated breath

Infallible. Imperishable.
Unwavering. Immutable.
Neither subjected to limitations,
Nor to transformations.
Death and decay -
None of them in your way.
The permanence of the divine
And the permanence of the stability.
Amidst the ever-changing world,
There is unchanging eternal reality.

a chirrup here
a chirrup there
within the sycamores canopy
-shelter from Sun and rain
safe harbour from Mr Hawk.

songs of Seagulls pierce the blue
plaintive plain song like monks
psalm song on lips from hearts
- broken on the shores of love.
