a day for billowing sheets on the line
working with the wind
harnessing her freedom without slavery

rattling around your skull

set in bone

After one last recital
one last Hurrah.

wind bourn discarded Summer
swirling up and out to sea
frigid waters where seals swim
catching cold bloodied fish
a thin shore betwixt footfall
and watery end- where
many have fallen to their death
- from on high our Island cliffs.

sweet kiss or kissed real quick
the moment gone
sweet lips, sweet lips
the eternal remembrance
your lips your lips
such was your sweet kiss.

with so many choices of bandwagons
it can be hard to choose the worthwhile

to be succinct in a world
of throwaway speech.

Fright night seeps into the mind
spreading its fear-tentacles far and wide.

A spirit monster to battle once more-
but its getting easier each time.
