and we lay pressed together,
he tries to teach me the dialect
of butterfly kisses,
and being so close,
we are no longer a landscape of two mountains and valleys moving,
but we are one,
and its so warm and comforting to feel his weight as he weighs on me,
and he still needs to be closer,
wrapping compact muscles,
around my stumps for legs,
and he is sticky fingers, that bestow solemn pinky promises,
half attempted secret whispers yelled across the room,

he is a sweet sunrise,
when all you have ever known is the blistering loneliness of night.
He is not afraid to talk and to share his thoughts,
and there are moments, snapshots of my failing infrastructure,
that lashes out at his incessant nature, me willing him to stop.

He discusses my beauty with strangers and mid thought tells me that I am so very beautiful,
and when he says it I believe it.

he falls asleep like one who is proud to tell anyone listening he is 3 and a half he had to add.

i wish he were mine,
mine to keep,
mine to trully love,
but I'm just make believing playing wifey to families,
with no need,

but right now its just
you and me
and the me I am with you,
and in this moment i hold your small 3 year old hands in my hand,
and its enough to be.

Little pink petals are falling
From the tall, tall cherry trees
Little pink petals land on my cheeks
As I look up into the turquoise sky
They land on beautiful paths
And land sweetly in the green grass
I love sweet Cherry Blossoms
Their beauty is so pristine
Cherry Blossoms are falling
Falling gracefully from the trees

The snowflakes are falling from the grey sky
All of the world is dressed in pearly white
The snowflakes are twirling from way up high
The ground is covered with snowflakes so bright
It is midnight and still the snowflakes fall
Snowflakes are falling to the frozen ground
In the morning its bringing fun for all
The sweet song of Winter doth here abound
Snowdrops are pushing up from the cold snow
Beautiful dogwoods are not yet in bloom
In the frozen air our cheeks are aglow
Winter's moon shines its shadows in my room
All night long the frozen wind is screaming
While all people are in their beds dreaming

Dear is the old deserted church so dear
Grave is the old churchyard abandoned grave
Hear the wind whistles through the churchyard hear
Fade as a withered flower, sunset, fade
Dead are the people sleeping in graves dead
Cold is the ground where they're buried in cold
Tread please do not upon their gravestones tread
Bold is the pretty sunset fading bold
Sad is the church where monks used to go sad
Sadly the tombs are overgrown sadly
Clad in such ghostly white robes they were clad
Creepily the knells rung out creepily
Dear is that familiar churchyard so dear
Hear the knells ring through the ghostly wind hear

Daisies and bluebells
Awaken the sleeping Spring
Wisteria begins to bloom
Little brooks bubble and flow
No longer covered in ice
Sunlight dapples on paths
Daffodils nod and sway
Tiny breezes stir the green leaves
Little ferns dance beside the creek
All the world seems awaken
With an eternal Spring

Leaves twirl and fall to the ground
Smoke curls from chimneys
Chilly winds blow through the trees
Leaves turn bright colours
Winds howl at night
Coyotes shout to the full moons
And wolves yell to the darkness
The earth becomes cold and anytime now
Winter will soon be on its way
Visiting the world with lacy snowflakes

Jack Frost visits the world
Turning the once warm earth
To a cold, hard ground
Snowflakes fall from the sky
Turning all the world to a dazzling white
The song of the Celtic Harp rings in my ears
Filling me with a bittersweet nostalgia
Dance with the snowflakes as they fall
Fill the joy bubble and overflow in your heart
When all the world turns cold, dance with the snowflakes
Pine trees and fir trees hang their heads covered in icy snow
Watch the sun as it rises and sinks
Listen to the wind sing a song through the trees
Listen to the song of Winter
And dance to the snowflakes
For there is joy in your heart
Let the sadness melt away
As snowflakes do when it is Spring

Dance to the falling snowflakes
And be as happy as a Fairy
Enjoy the Everlasting Winter

I'm so sorry for your loss, Mother dear
I hope your sweet heart will mend soon
I hope you will comfort in my words hear
When Fairies dance you'll dance under the Moon
Their pretty whispered words shall comfort you
And they will comfort you in bed tonight
And when the Fairies dance I hope you'll dance too
And with God's help you'll soon see the Light
I hope you feel better soon, Mother dear
May your broken wings mend so you will fly
I hope the sympathy in my words you'll hear
May the Moon cheer you up in the night sky
May God mend your broken heart from above
God, a heart is broken, fill her with love
