I hear the thunder,
rolling off in the distance.
I see the lightening,
glowing up the night sky.
I stand amongst grass in the middle of the field, trying to become one with the sky.
The storm moves closer to me,
the furious rain slaps the side of my cheeks
and the thunder leaves a ringing in my ears.
My body tells me to escape yet my mind tells me to overcome this storm.
The roaring wind yells my name and the lightening slowly burns everything down.
I feel so alone, so cold, so hopeless.
Tears leave my face faster than the raindrops hit the earth.
I can’t do this anymore…
I wait for the storm to get closer, to take me along with it.

I’m living in the wild…

all around me I see different species.

some beautiful, some mute.

some loud, some small.

all around, the grassy terrains surround me.

the icy cold rain drips on my head.

the blazing sun beats against my skin.

the crying wind howls in my ears.

all around, the world suddenly turns filthy.

shouts, cries, blood, death.

what matters is who is more apt to survive.

I’m surviving in the wild…
