The eyes that watched the innocence fall
Carrying hearts upon their backs
Carrying lives within their hearts
Minds left not touched, but rather
Poked
Prodded
Stabbed
To the point of lost sanity

The eyes that watched the innocence fall
Lies crash around them
Deceit is all comprehensible
Reminiscing, a reverie,
Laughter
Joy
Innocence

That now only exists in such
And will forevermore
One of my older works.

You’re the cold side of the bed
Come monday morning
A quiet whose screams echo those same words
"I dont love you.
Anymore."
A putrid piece of magic.
Coated with the pungency of sin

And id dance with you
But these feet are like no other
Vilified and scarred and lefted
And lost beyond repair.

And i’d sing to you
With the shot voice upon which
David danced to
But i've left my voice behind
Traded for a moment of what i call justice and

I’d offer you a drink
But alas, all I bear are these
Battle scars
and foreign thoughts
And all these empty bottles

Abandoned here atop this rocky ledge
I long for sweetness in the light of you
And every time i close my eyes its like
A darker paradise inside my mind
These open waters take my soul away
To drown it in another sweet escape
Oh leave me leave me for you cannot stay
You bother with a soul too lost at sea
Oh leave me leave me for you shall not stay
On here atop this rocky ledge with me
The first poem I wrote In Iambic Pent.

For what attracts us to the scarlet ribbon?
As they crash upon the blood stained floor?
For thou wilt struck thine enemy
Vile and desecrated
Laced in low
To rise atop the jet black stair
and to live alive forevermore

Raining down from the darkened skies
Is beauty beyond beauty beyond shining
Down from the fisherman’s sky is indifference
Vile and desecrated
To be a living hell
To rise atop the jet black stair
and to how one can ever tell

For what attracts us to the scarlet ribbon?
As they fly from metal cold and lifeless
Lift me up above thine enemy
Anguished and griefed
Craft is the plague
To rise atop the jet black stair
and again to how one can ever tell

Falling sick upon a collapsed journey
Is my love, for where art thou?
Fallen to thine enemy?
You promised
You promised
but how can one truly ever tell?

My burden when shes by my side
The skies fell grey from winters rain
beautiful as her morphine tipped name
and autumn nights as summers died

my only pain when shes here with me
the trees gone bare and world awry
and finding pleasure in not knowing why
but letting the sorrow continue to be

she tears at me and calls my name
begging to be saved once more
like clothes left upon a bedroom floor
or forgetting how to walk down memory lane

...its a monarch butterfly and iced tea day
a warm rain leaves angst in the air
by burden when she doesnt care
is what is there for me to save?

oh
oh the irony
