All these lemons
But my lemonade stil tastes like ****
Sowz
It is a passing love affair
The black thorny rose
Thin stemmed
Bleeding nightmare
Beauty bathed in darkness
Like a black cat
Sleek feline queen of Sheba
Narcissus and Nefertiti
Persephone
Eyes open no final reflection in death
Just peace from life’s pain
Not a mistress I would pursue for a kiss
But one that one day I might not resist
"as if I were hiding something,"
you repeated minutes later
aloud after me.

the buzzing turned to hissing,
and I know that you told
me this all once before.

and I didn't have the chance to
tell you that I was not ready,
but you wasted no time,
and ignored my request to
move slowly.

at the stoplight
colored red, I screamed
and got out of the car.
Waiting and hiding
in the corner store.

the time that I realized that
you were stronger than me,
and I couldn't get you
off me for all that I tried.

heart races, neck held
against the wall.
she walks to school
with a black eye.
and I laugh, because
otherwise I'd cry.
There are monsters in this world.
They just aren't what we thought
when were young and innocent.
Their sly smiles and coy grins
are not pointy toothed and rotten.
Their teeth are white and straight
and you can never see their true intentions.
Shadowed minds and twisted souls
do not reflect on the outside anymore.
This isn't so much a poem as something I wanted to point out

So we started poetry in school
and the teacher handed us
a big book of "amazing" poems
to analyze and revel in,
but the silent truth
is hello poetry poems
are more than a million times
more amazing.
Thank you everyone, keep up the awesome poems and know that you are such incredible poets.
but
     I
      want
               to
                 sin
                     on
                         every
                                  inch
                                        of
                                           your
                                                 body.
