Far long before your conception,
Have we cast our spirit around this territory,
Even the wind trembles at the sound of our voice.
The oceans and seas tell of our temperature,
All creatures here shriek
When the earth cries at the sound of our footfall.

We are the aged heroes,
The foundations of the universe,
We are people without season,
As the dust of countless ages so we are!
From the wake of time,
The era of darkness without shape,
From the voidless earth we carved our residence,
With golds of woods,
Bronze of grasses upon diamond field.

We are the lived before re-incarnation,
We are the foundations of your buildings,
Bearers of your surviving grace,
we are all time universal heroes,
People without season
The Indigens of the Earth.
We are the improvement of the lives of our forefathers.
Multitude of days has fallen by,
The travellers have returned in numbers,
The pictures are painted.
Dreamers have woken up

Where have you hidden your face?

The time is set,the hour is come,
My heart is ready,
My kingdom is built in total completion,
Will i be of no queen host?

Where have you hidden your face?!!

My heart is melted,I've waited to frazzle
I've  waited with longing eyes,
with burning passion!
The sun is set and the night is dark
Solitude tales are told of me.

Where have you hidden your face?
    Where have you been?
Will i with eyes behold not your reflections again?
Until the night turns day
I'll wait,I'll wait with hope!
I've known her for a while and have fallen in love with her,it's been long a while,i've not seen her, schools have gone on vacation still she hasn't come,i can't wait to see her again, for i love her with the love thats more than love .
I know them long ago,
We've played the tales moonlight,
We've chased and hide and seek
We've shared and shared mummy's meal,
We were one blood
We felt our pains.

yes I know them
       I know them
       I know them!

Only little time like yesterday,
I was taken away from them
But I've returned,
I've come to them again!
No more, they know me no more!
I'm to them alien!

But I know them!
Yes, i do know them.
Long ago,our mummy sung us lullaby.
The whiles after the moonlight tales
When the nights were dark and thick
Yes I know them!

I'm the seasonal stranger.
The yesterday's friend,the little brother.
Enemies of humanity
Humanly clothed
Roaring lions in sheep clothings
They are demons amidst angels

   Enemies of humanity

They are traitors in our territories
Which we do not know of
They enjoy the delicacies of our meals
Lay on same bed with us

  They are enemies of humanity

In their arms we're ensnared
In our own town we're held prisoners
At their scenes of play:
  we mourn our siblings
  our fathers yell in grieves
our mothers weep in deep sorrows

   they are enemies of humanity
They are the children of our yesterday
left miserably in the arms of vulnerability
They are the nightmares we've known in our sleeps

They are the monsters we created with our hands
The graves we dug for ourselves

Our rhythm will beat
woefully
we will know no rest until
we treat the messes of our yesterday!
Who is this?!
Who is this creature,
peeping through my joy,
interrupting my happiness?
Who is this creature, crawling my surrounding?
Crooking the smooth path i once trod?

Who is this that feeds upon the flesh of my children,
And drinks from the blood of my offsprings?!
Who is this ravaging the treasures long laid?
Darkening my image,
Treading upon my dignity?!
Trampling on my joy of motherhood?
How did my innocent children wrong you?

Upon whose invitation do you resident my camp?!
Who invited you to swim in the blood of children?!
And have as your meal the fruits of my hardlabour?

Curse upon you this day,
For you're but unwanted guests!
Enemies of humanity
Humanly clothed.
Enough to your damage.
Gather your luggage and be gone from us.

Let me and my children sing the songs of peace!.
Be far removed from us!
Go far away from this land and do not return.
We used to be one of the most peaceful countries of the world, until the coming of this monsters called "Boko Haram"
When you decide you love me
and you decide you care
You'll find yourself quite lonely
because I won't be there
I wrote this when I was 15 after my first breakup.
Do you remember those days,
we went out of our way,
to pack delicious lunches,
and meet in the fields.

We'd talk about our lives,
and wrestle in the sea,
of tall green grass,
just you and me.

When the wind whispers in your ear,
and the sun fades behind the trees,
please remember those days we spent,
out in the fields.

Oh the nights we spent out there,
in the fields, without a care.
Gazing at all the stars, aligned,
just you and I.

And the mornings when I awoke,
to you by my side,
those mornings were,
some of the best of my life.

When the wind whispers in your ear,
and the sun fades behind the trees,
please remember those days we spent,
out in the fields.

But my time here is withering away,
so with these last words,
I just want to tell you today,
that you are my world.

And when I go,
please remember me...

When the wind whispers in your ear,
and the sun fades behind the trees,
please remember those days we spent,
out in the fields.

I am lost in this world with no one to love,
not even my family.

About two years ago he left.
One second he was there the next he was not.
I felt my heart brake on that cold winter day, as i stood there and cried with my big eyes as i watched you and your new family drive way.

He looked back at me and waved good-bye,
i was a tear in his eye and he tried not to cry,
and scents that day my family slowly starts to die.

At eight years of age he did not know much about what had happened on that vary last day.

Now she is gone too,
the one i need to push me though ,
the one i call mother.

She said to me on that cold last day " baby don't cry this is not good-bye i will see you again someday" then gave me a hug as she turns and walked away from that sad little girl with tiers in her eyes as she sees her family slowly start to die,
but this little girl knew she would have to be the glue to keep her family together.

At night i lay down and cry,
I feel my tears flowing like a river down my cheeks and soaks into my pillow.

I lie and wait for that one day to come to see my little brother once more and he too will be the glue that holds my family together.
