This delicate thread suspended between us
Shall drive me to insanity.
If too often stretched and disturbed,
It will be destroyed by gravity.

This icy mist smothering our connection
Surely must someday rise?
For mirrors too often reflect the love,
And shadows engulf the lies.

This magnetic resemblance that we hold
May lead us to our demise.
The poles must have their faces opposing,
Or else the electricity dies.
The rapping and tapping,
the hitting and slapping,
sipping and slurping,

The munching and crunching,
the snacking and slacking,
hunching in a darkened room,

Facebook steals your youth.
I THINK YOU’D LIKE THIS
AND, I LIKE YOU
SO I’D THOUGHT I’D GIVE IT TO YOU
JUST A LITTLE SOMETHING
THAT MADE ME THINK OF YOU
AND MAYBE WHEN YOU SEE THIS
YOU’D THINK OF ME, A FRIEND, WHO
CARES FOR YOU AND THEN YOU’D BE
BE THINKING OF ME, TOO.

I THOUGHT OF YOU TODAY, AND THAT
PICTURE YOU SENT MY WAY,
AND WONDERED HOW YOU’VE BEEN LATELY,
FOR EVERY TIME I SEE IT, I SEE YOU,
AND WISH YOU WERE RIGHT HERE,
WONDERING ABOUT ME, TOO
BECAUSE THERE’S NOT MANY WHO SEE ME
THE WAY YOU DO, AND
I’M STARTING TO SEE THINGS
THE WAY YOU DO, AND MISSING THE WAY
YOU’D SEE ME, TOO.

IS THAT SO? WELL, I WONDER IF WE WERE
THINKING THE SAME WAY,
AT THE SAME TIME, ON THE SAME DAY
FOR HERE I AM MISSING YOU, AND WONDERING
WHEN YOU’LL MISS ME, TOO,
THE WAY MY HEART LONGS FOR YOU
AND THE FRIENDSHIP WE ONCE KNEW,
IS IT GNAWING AT YOU, TOO?

IT’S EVERY DAY, THE SAME WAY
WHEN I LOOK AT THE WAY YOU SEE ME,
I WONDER WHY IT TOOK ME SO LONG,
TO SEE YOU, TOO, TO FIND MY WAY BACK TO YOU,
SO, I WISH TO BE WITH YOU, FOR MY THOUGHTS
ARE FILLED OF ONLY YOU, AND MY EYES
WAIT FOR THE DAY, I’D SOON SEE YOU
AND THEN, MY HANDS PICK UP THE LAST
PHOTO YOU SENT, AND I SEE A WHOLE NEW YOU
AND WONDER IF YOU LOVE ME TOO,
THE WAY, I TRULY DO LOVE YOU.

Walking in the shadows of our youth
Such tall shadows
And how cold
We shiver and shudder and realize the truth
Such barren truth
And how cruel
How pointless it is to wander and stare
At the heavens
The merciless heavens
Who dominate all with a calm, steady glare
Oh the heavens
The merciless heavens
We lay claim to the sorrows that wander down here
The sorrows of being
The sorrows of age
We are granted a sight both foggy and clear
We see the end
And the end is near.

I am red;
Screaming since Broken;
Pain obscured,
Your laughing, i'm dead.

I am orange,
Calming and clear,
You'll come when you need me,
You know I'll be here.

I am Yellow;
The sunshine that arose your day,
The Smile you wear,
and the price that you pay.

I am Green;
The grass that you sow,
Natures own way,
Of saying "Hello."

I am Blue;
Ice colored, speckled with fear,
If only you'd come back,
If only you'd been here.

I am violet;
The Turbulent reminder,
The shimmering gaze,
The Quiet reminder that was taken in haste.

I am the spectrum of colors;
I am stronger than you.
Brighter, and vibrent.
I'll outlive the truth.

Through a meadow I skipped one day
dancing through the grass
which the wind did cause to sway.
Filled with happiness and glee
i laughed, smiled, twirled about,
and then arrived the bee.
He stung me on m arm that bee,
but what I had done I could not see,
but vengeance would be mine.
With my palm I crushed the bug
against my arm where it sat,
and as I brushed away its guts
from my pocket I took a match.
I burned the meadow
burned it flat.

It hits me,
Like the rush of a tympani
Unexpected, often missed,
Often lost.

Mind pushing back,
Pulling forth

Crescendos,
I do not fear you,
I could not love you.
And I certainly don't
wait for you.

An even change of direction,
Acceleration.

Arms, legs, heart;
Just one more stroke,
One last, desperate
Passion -

Synchronicity.
