Stranger
Melisa Çıngı Oct 2022
Look at the loneliness shining in front of your face
There comes the green light
Do you see your way out?
Don't try to turn to left
While the right is wide open
Black and white
Does your emotions have to be?
This much concrete
Look at your friends laughing
You are not there
Why aren't you there?
There comes your loneliness
Shaped like light bulb
Couples walking
Couples passing
You watch them walk by
Sign says, not enough to be satisfied
You strive for hunger
The strangers gaze are not enough for you to keep you full
Must keep your head up
Must keep your arms up
Tilting of ones head
There is a question you must answer
You must know the answer
Standing up
Walking as if nothing happened
Everything is all right
Don't look so puzzled the stranger
Who you are is who am I
To the sea we must shall go
There, everything is all right
The wind leaves no worry to the stranger
Come, come he says
It's all empty here
Welcome to the sea
Two lovers on our seat
I told you so I wish to say
In another universe, happiness is on our way
Look at the world
It keeps moving
I don't care who you are
I don't care why you are here
Just look at the world

Insomnia
Melisa Çıngı Oct 2020
I can't sleep
Hope you can't too
There is that feeling keeps me awake
Which you know too
A dream is all I ask
Dream that includes you
I couldn't understand
What did you do
To make me beg for
One dream about you

Soul Inflamed
Melisa Çıngı Oct 2020
My heart is red
Soon I’ll be dead
My shroud is plaid
Where is my lad?

Did he spread
The love that we shared
Or did he forget
All the blossoms we had?

I made him abased
With my soul so dazed
I think he’s ashamed
Of the night we framed

I remember the eyes he had
To me they were dead
And I almost obeyed
To his soul inflamed

To The Blue Boy
Melisa Çıngı Oct 2020
Today I feel like ****
Tomorrow will be the same
Unless he calls me again
Everyday would be the same
He won’t call me again
I should get on a plane
Alone again
With my main cause
To gain
An insight of pain
Now my plane has took off
And he is long before gone
Will I find him around the pond?
Gazing at the ground
With bright blue eyes
Looking so wise
Will he be nice
Or should I get the ice?
