how could a heart like yours
love a heart like mine

your heart is full of love.
you dream of life.
you have no regrets.
you live without fear of the future.

my heart is full of-
well it's not full at all:
it's broken; shattered,
into a thousand tiny little pieces.

and somehow, someway,
you were kind enough;
to hunt for every little piece,
and put me back together.

and this is why i,
will never understand,
this silly little thing,
we call love.
Our tears touch-
They mingle
And smear together,
Becoming one;

Tiny vials of our soul-
In the form of tears,
Each half empty,
Until they meet as one.

Our lips kiss,
Sparks fly,
To and from, joining,
Becoming one.

Our souls leap
To meet each other,
To send sparks,
To announce the union.

Tears we cry,
Kisses we give,
All are glimpses
Of our souls,

Finally meeting ever so
Slowly but surely
They mingle
And caress.

Yours and mine,
That have searched
For each other
For all time.

Let the tears flow,
Let the kisses rain,
For you have found me
And I have found you.

For our tears mingle,
Our kisses send sparks;
They speak to the heart:
You and I are Soulmates.
Let’s fall in love overnight.

Tell me everything that crosses your mind at 2 AM,
I’ll listen.
Sing to me the songs that make you want to cry,
I’ll sing along with you.
Tell me all your dreams,
and I’ll make them happen overnight.

Let me in,
let me feel your warmth
and let me hold you;
the way you hold a flightless bird
with an injured wing,
so gentle and fragile.

That’s what this is.
This feeling is fragile.

This overnight love can break so easily,
but for now let’s just secure it
in the palm of our hands
to the empty spaces in our hearts.

Let’s fill it with this overnight love.
In literature I go
Still I search for you
Firm grasp of the pen
Still I search for you
To the canvas & brush
Still I search for you
Until my passion is met
I will always search for you
Lies are truths we wish
        to hear
Truths are lies we wish
        were real
X
Building walls
Impenetrable
To everyone
Except you

I allow you in
Just so you
Can tear me apart
From the inside out
Have your ever stood on the edge
And wondered?
What does the Black feel like?
Is it that soft brush against your skin?
Which raises the hackles?
Or would it cling like tar
Hot and sticky
Seeping into your pores and
Down to your very soul
Solidly encasing it in stone.
What does it taste like?
Does it brush against your lips
A whisper, a kiss?
Or does it flow down your throat
Choking, clogging, no air.
And what smell would it have?
Would it be a gentle reminder
Of a distant memory, buried deep
Or would it slam into your senses
Like a wind carrying the scent
Of Long Forgotten memories
That wound the heart.
If I took that step, from the edge
Would the Black softly receive me
Or burn forever, relentlessly?
Would it gently beckon me or
Would it reach out its long bony fingers and
Seize me
With no choice?
Have you ever wondered?
14/06/2010..... they just get older, like me!
Breathe in-2-3, out-2-3
Your eyes snap open
Sweat beads your forehead
You feel the cold circle
Of a gun against your temple.

Breathe in-2-3, out-2-3
Your eyes squeeze close
Your finger tightens on the trigger
Will you be strong enough?
But then you stop.

Breathe in-2-3, out-2-3
Your eyes open in wonder
Your shoulders slump
The gun lays forgotton on the table
A warm hand covers yours.

Breathe in-2-3, out-2-3
Your eyes close slowly
Your lips touch
Warmth surrounds you
The world is comforting again.
