We base our alliance
But not on mere external elegance
Or favoured nature or trueness of heart
It's more than just preference that sets us apart
We were never intricated to stoop so low
To fall in love with bare figures mellow
Words cannot explain what this was, this is, this may be
For out there may be angels, or princesses, or Goddesses,
And yet all I ever want, oh she just read this line
And my, I can't have enough of that smile.

I look at her, she looks at me
"I should go up to her. Nah let it be"
I glance away as she's on her way
"Hopefully I'll see her the following day"

She walked towards me like Earth left no beauty aside
A smile so beautiful, and to think the sunset was wide
Finally exchanged greetings, well that was a start
She left my sight, yet stayed warm in my heart

As time strolled past we became good friends
Well not that great, but enough to bridge our ends
I'd smile at her, she'd smile at me
Beyond that will we ever be?

I think of her while I sleep
I wake up, her face draws me deep
I shower, and my mind is brimming over her
Scary movies don't change losing her as my worst fear

A few months of opportunity, and here we are
Still smiling at each other, hasn't really gone far
I wish we could click, but hope stopped waiting
"How I wish you'd love me, and we could start dating!"

"Mate let it go, it was never meant to happen,
Don't let one girl let your cheeks dampen."
"Yo chill you're wasting your hours,
Girls like her aren't a few."
.
.
I'd still chase a million stars
if it meant searching for you.
Based on a true story as told to by a friend.

As I see her walking from a distance
That silhouette made of pure grace
Her vibe that sent waves of good constance
Her steps toward me making my heart race

She's standing right before me
This queen of my deepest fascination
From this planet my mind begins to flee
All the way to heavens very constellation

Her mouth is moving in slow-motion
Her voice takes my breath away
She's blabbering out a mortal commotion
But on my face only a smile does stay

In this world of exquisite entity
She's perhaps the centrepiece, the highest bid
Every inch of her perfect entirety
All this comes from someone who hugs me and calls me stupid
Get yourself someone who can be your clown and your queen at the same time and you will know what happiness is.

I could travel to the ends of the earth
And yet not find anything worthwhile;
But thinking of you I can feel the mirth,
Into paradise I fly at the sight of your smile.

I could look down from the sky so blue
And yet not find for love as true
As the unending love I have for you.

To search for the greatest treasure
I could go to the depths of the sea
And yet it's value would not measure
As much as you mean to me.

I could go into space and see
Into every corner of the Galaxy
But in realizing does my mind converse
That you are my entire Universe.
It's a spectacular feeling when you connect your love for someone or something to something larger in life, to something as vast as love itself.
